The Accessibility Plan is an instrument for promoting accessibility in the municipal area, which identifies the architectural and sensory barriers in the different areas of the population (public roads, buildings and transport), proposes solutions, makes a budget and establishes a program for its progressive elimination in order to achieve that the municipality is fully accessible, in a rational and planned manner.
The technical writing of the study includes from the territorial analysis, the field work, the diagnosis, the preparation of plans in QGIS (Geographic Information System), the writing of the report to the proposal of actions with calendar and budget and the final layout of the document. Accessibility on public roads, mobility, accessibility on transport are assessed and a final summary document is included.
In addition, the accessibility study has other objectives such as compliance with current regulations regarding accessibility, proposing a plan of stages for the actions and offering indicators that allow monitoring the evolution of the state of the accessibility of the municipality over time.
