Application of the “Desire Lines Analysis” methodology developed by Copenhagenize Design Co. at an intersection in Barcelona’s Eixample.
Through direct observation it is possible to extract data on cycling mobility such as the number of users, the trajectories they have, potential conflicts, the types of bicycles they use, etc. With this data and anthropology as work tools, it is possible to design optimal solutions that substantially and qualitatively improve cycling infrastructures, safety and adaptation to the real needs of users and consequently increase the use of bicycles in the city
