EBSE – Cycling Without Age.
En Bici Sense Edat is a Non-Governmental Organization in the form of a non-profit Association of general interest and of Catalan scope, which since 2016 has been working to improve the quality of life, health and well-being of the elderly and people with reduced mobility, through the organization of rides in specially adapted electric tricycles, driven by volunteers.
Our mission is to promote active aging and the good treatment of older people, and our vision is to facilitate the creation of new intergenerational relationships that fight unwanted loneliness.
Our values are: Solidarity and generosity; respectful treatment of people and the environment; their well-being and health; sustainability, humanity and transparency.
In Catalonia En Bici Senses Edat is rooted in several localities through the chapters of Cardedeu, Castelldefels, Cornellà, Palau d’Anglesola, Granollers, Mataró, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Sant Just Desvern, Ripoll, Tarragona and Terrassa.
